What Happens During Tire Rotation?

When you bring your VW in for tire rotation, our technicians will remove all four of your wheels and rotate their position. Sometimes this just means switching the front wheels to the rear and the rear wheels to the front. Other times, the wheels will be rotated in an X shape. The front left wheel and the rear right wheel will be switched, and the front right and rear left wheels will be switched. The exact nature of the rotation depends on several factors, but the end result is the same, each tire will receive much more even tread wear.

How Often Does My VW Need Tire Rotation?
